125kHz hotel RFID energy-saving card-switch listing for compatible room power-control systems. Confirm the accepted card technology, supply voltage, load rating and any contactor requirements before professional installation.
The Energy Saver RFID Card Switch (125KHz/40A) is a high-capacity power control device designed for hotel automation, allowing guests to activate room electricity (lights, AC, TV) only when their key card is inserted. This specific model is compatible with standard low-frequency RFID cards like EM4305, T5557, and T5567.
Key Specifications
Load Capacity: Supports up to 40A (8800W), which is sufficient for high-power appliances like air conditioning units without needing an external contactor in most standard rooms.
Card Compatibility: Specifically designed for 125KHz proximity cards (ID/T57/EM4305); it will generally not respond to high-frequency 13.56MHz IC cards.
Automatic Delay: Features a 15-second power-off delay after the card is removed, providing guests enough light to exit the room safely.
Voltage Support: Operates on a wide voltage range, typically 80-240V AC (50/60Hz), making it suitable for global electrical standards.
Safety: Constructed from fire-retardant PC plastic and designed for a service life of over 100,000 relay operations at full load.

Installation & Efficiency
The switch fits into standard Type 86 bottom boxes. By automating power management, hotels can significantly reduce operational costs and energy waste. The wiring typically requires a neutral and live wire connection, but for very high-load setups or specialized circuits (like keeping a refrigerator powered), a separate contactor or RCCB may be recommended.
