OBD2 15-meter (50 ft) 16-pin male to female extension cable allows you to connect your car’s diagnostic port to a scanner or telematics device from a distance. It is highly useful for diagnostic testing, connecting GPS trackers, or linking a vehicle to a stationary desktop computer.
Key Features & Considerations
- Pin Configuration: Ensure the cable has a full 16-pin pass-through, meaning all 16 wires are connected inside. This guarantees that all communication protocols and power/ground pins work correctly with advanced scanners.
- Gauge (AWG): For a run as long as 15 meters, look for cables with an adequate wire gauge (typically 26AWG or thicker) to prevent voltage drop and ensure reliable signal transmission.
- Wear Reduction: By leaving an extension plugged into the car’s port, you protect your vehicle’s delicate original port from breaking due to repeated plugging and unplugging.
- Availability: Finding a 15-meter OBD2 extension locally in Jabedul Dewan Trading LLC might be difficult; however, you can source them from global retailers and have them shipped to Worldwide
