Honda ECU Key Write
Honda ECU Key Write is a cybersecurity-related service function available for supported vehicles. Depending on vehicle and authorization level, related functions may include ECU Key Write, immobilizer setup, key registration and one-push start / immobilizer service functions. Security-related operations require the appropriate authorized credentials and must only be performed on vehicles for which the technician or customer has authorization.
J2534 Device Support
For applicable ECU reprogramming, supported SAE J2534 pass-thru interfaces may include Honda Antares Capsule (HAC), MongoosePro Honda, MongoosePlus Honda2, CarDAQ Plus 3, d-briDGe Pro and other compatible generic J2534 VCIs where applicable. A generic J2534 interface does not itself provide authorization for protected immobilizer or key-security functions.
Supported Programming Functions
ECM / PCM Reprogramming: Update supported engine control modules with applicable calibration software.
Control Module Updating: Programming of supported modules when an applicable service procedure or software update requires it.
