Bootmod3 OBD2 Wi-Fi ENET BMW

The bootmod3 (BM3) Wireless OBDII WiFi ENET Adapter is a specialized wireless tuning hardware dongle engineered by proTUNINGFREAKS. It plugs directly into your BMW’s OBD2 port to allow wireless engine tuning, map switching, and live data logging directly from a smartphone or tablet.

Key Features & Capabilities

• High-Speed Tuning: Delivers the fastest wireless flash times currently available over ENET and CANBUS protocols
• Enhanced Security: Unlike generic adapters with open connections, the official bootmod3 Adapter allows you to set your own custom WiFi password.
• No False Alarms (V3 Version): The V3 variant goes into an ultra-low power mode (~20mA) when the car shuts off. It can be left plugged in permanently without triggering the vehicle’s factory alarm system. (Note: The lower-cost V2A version will trigger the alarm on G-series cars if left plugged in
• All-in-One Multi-App Support: Beyond engine tuning via the BM3 app, the adapter acts as a universal wireless ENET device. It is fully compatible with third-party software like BimmerCode for coding factory features, BimmerLink for wireless diagnostics, and xHP Flashtool for transmission tuning.
• No VIN Locking: The physical hardware is not locked to one vehicle. You can freely use a single adapter across multiple supported cars.

Vehicle Compatibility

The hardware supports the following platforms over wireless ENET and CANBUS

• BMW F-Series (All models)
• BMW G-Series (All models)
• BMW I-Series (Select diagnostic protocols; note that E-series vehicles are not supported)
• Toyota Supra (2020+ A90 / A91 models)
