The Ford Steering Lock Emulator with a green connector is a plug-and-play solution designed to bypass faulty Electronic Steering Column Locks (ESCL) on Ford Focus MK2, C-Max, Kuga MK1, and Mondeo models. It eliminates the need for expensive OEM replacements or programming
Key Features
- No Programming Required: True plug-and-play installation; simply connect and start the vehicle.
- Lock Sound Emulation: Produces the standard authentic lock and unlock acoustic confirmation sounds.
- Connector Type: Specifically designed with the 4-pin green connector found on compatible Ford platforms.
How to Install
- Turn off the vehicle’s ignition completely.
- Locate the faulty steering lock under the steering column and disconnect the vehicle’s wiring harness from the original ESL unit.
- Plug the original vehicle harness into the green connector of the steering lock emulator.
- Push the start button to activate.
Indicator Light Guide
- Solid/Blinking Green LED: Indicates the system is receiving open and close commands properly and is functioning.
- Blinking Red LED: Indicates an error code in the vehicle’s immobilizer system. You will need to clear the error using an OBD2 diagnostic tool or reset the car by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery until the LED turns green
